Not sure if my title is even correct English, but I don't really care right now :p
Right now I'm busy with Skorne, however I'm planning on starting the Convergence ASAP! I already own the faction book :D
I'll try to summarize and give opinions on each and every model the Convergence has acces to!
I can't promise anything, and as I haven't played them yet, I can't really give tactical or sound advice, but I can give my own experiences facing them, which I will.
This was a short post, you'll hear more from me soon

Lots and Lots of information!!!
Wooow! Just, Wooow!
There has a lot of Convergence information been spoilt, and I am not kidding when I say it are lots and lots of information!
Firstly, some people already have the No Quarters wherein PP has put a lot of info. Then, we also have the Insider ofcourse. So while the sources aren't really legio, the information surely is.
We have detailed information on the Forge Father (we know more about him right now than we ever did on another Warcaster). We know point costs of several units, solos and Vectors. We have information on the Battle Engine. We are at 99% until we can start playtesting - we still don't know for sure some damage tracks.. Bummer right?
I'll try to summarize all as soon as possible, but unfortunately, I also have to study. Expect some tidbits later this day!

Convergence Spoilers 5: Support
Hi all, this will be my last post until thursday, because after this one I have gathered all information currently known about Convergence models as far as I know! This post will summarize two of Will Shick's Insiders, but I'll try to be short. I will handle each Insider separately.
1. The Servitors
As always, here is the link
No it are not the 40k ones, these Servitors are [...] autonomous clockwork constructs designed to fulfill a single battlefield role [...] and they float and they are round. This means they have pathfinder, so difficult terrain won't hinder them. They will also be really cheap. Without further ado, let's get to them.
- Accretion Servitors
- First, accretion means: "Growth or increase in size by gradual external addition, fusion, or inclusion" (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/accretion).
- These are the ones that float around the battlefield and repair broken stuff. They have the bodge ability, and we already know that that allows to repair Repairable models. So your Reciprocators just got a whole lot tougher! They also have an ability called Strip, which let them do 1 point of damage to the column of your choice of an enemy warjack. And you can take a lot of them. I assume they will be 1 point for 2, but I guess they will die like flies.
- Elimination Servitors
- These little buggers shoot a Puncture weapon, making them the perfect choice for dealing with High ARM, 1 health troops. They also look mean.
- Attunement Servitors
- they shoot flares (enemies hit suffer -2 DEF) and it has a 4" AoE, meaning it'll be hard to miss, especially when you are close (as the template can only deviate a max distance equal to half your distance to the target).
- Reflex Servitors
- Their name is probably the least cool when you compare it to the other servitors, until you realise you can give this servitor the moniker 'The Bomb'. Their weapon has an ability called 'Detonation': you sacrifice the model and replace it with a 4" AoE with POW 14. And it has Counter Charge. To help it survive the tides of battle, it also has an ability Dig In, making it immune to blast damage and granting it additional DEF.
And here is a picture of them with the Forge Father

2. the Optifex
This Insider is all about living warrior models who serve the Goddess Cyriss by providing technical expertise to the armies of the Convergence. From the Insider: [...] The Optifex are peerless engineers and mechanics that serve vital roles on and off the battlefield [...].
There are two flavors of the Optifex known right now, The Optifex Directive and the Algorithmic Dispersion Optifex.
- Optifex Directive
- A three-man unit that repairs constructs and repairable models. It has repair[8]. It can grant Magical Weapon or Pathfinder to friendly faction constructs. They also have Iron Sentinel. No picture of them yet.
- Algorithmic Dispersion Optifex
- Sort of an Arc Node. When he is within 5" of a vector Warcasters can channel spells through him. He costs 1 point and you can take 4 of them, but they are very squishy - keep them away from the fight unless it is worth it. They too have Iron Sentinel.
That's all folks! Right now you are perfectly up to date with what has been leaked from our favourite Warmachine Robots! I will now start making blog posts about what I think about the Convergence, why I like them and stuff. Of course, every Wednesday Will Shick makes a revelation, so check out Thursday for more Convergence goodness.

Convergence Spoilers 4: Units
So, after a good night's rest, I'm ready to pick up where I stranded with the convergence spoilers. I have already gathered all the information I could find about the Vectors and the Warcasters, so I still need to handle the units and the solos. This post will be about the offensive units the Convergence can choose from. There is one unit I'm leaving out, but that's because it fulfills more of a support role. you will hear more about it later on this blog!
1. Small-based Units
As we know it right now, there are 4 small based units. We have the Obstructors and the Reductors about whom we know nothing, we have the Optifex Directive (those are in another post) and we have the Clockwork Angels.
2. Medium Based Units
This is where it gets interesting, because those three units have already been spoilt right here.
PP has the intension to make medium based units more viable than ever:
1. Small-based Units
As we know it right now, there are 4 small based units. We have the Obstructors and the Reductors about whom we know nothing, we have the Optifex Directive (those are in another post) and we have the Clockwork Angels.
- Obstructors & Reductors
- Unfortunately, all we have are some pictures. We also know that the Obstructors have Shield Wall and that they can switch between maces and flails.
![]() |
| I guess that's the shieldwall token |
![]() |
| The small based infantry in front without the shields are the Reductors |
- Clockwork Angels
- They have been spoilt here.
- They are designed to be fast and deadly. Too bad they can only be taken in groups of 3 + their defensive stats are rubbish. A stray AoE will kill them. On the other hand, direct fire will rarely hit them, as they have +2 DEF against ranged attacks (because of their ability called Blade Shield), making them DEF 16. They also are really fast: at SPD 7 with Flight and Reform, they can cross the battlefield really quickly. They also have Advance Deployment. They also make an ideal unit for taking out Incorporeal models because both their melee and their ranged weapons are Magical!
- The really good news: they look gorgeous:
2. Medium Based Units
This is where it gets interesting, because those three units have already been spoilt right here.
PP has the intension to make medium based units more viable than ever:
- They are very durable, and being constructs (or at least repairable) Accretion Servitors and Galvanizers can actually repair these 8 wound monsters.
- Variety: three flavours of heavy infantry, and each can swap between various weapon modes. Also, being a Circle of Orboros player myself, the possibility to choose between turns how the stats of your models look like is *fun*. Needing to make a decision between stats instead of having the stats already also drops down the point cost of the unit. Imagine how much a Warpwolf would cost if it had all the stats he can choose from right away.
- Variety means flexibility so your expensive unit of medium bases can fulfill different roles during the course of the battle.
So, what are those units anyway? Let's get started.
- Reciprocators: Those guys were already leaked in the Convergence Trailer. They have a base ARM of 16 and the Shieldwall ability and their purpose is to be the anchor of your battleline. You will need 28 damage to take out one in one shot, and the survivors can be repaired by Galvanizers and Accretion Servitors. Also, they are SPD 5, so they suffer less than say Shocktroopers when advancing and shieldwalling (still slow though). Those are the guys with the spearhalberds (or halberdlances). They can choose between Set Defence (granting them an effective DEF 14 against charge/slam attacks) and Empower, giving them +2 on damage rolls (this equals p+s 14 attacks).
- Then you have the Eradicators: Robots with bucklers that turn into knifes. They are the answer to infantry swarms, and their weaponmodes grant either +2 ARM (called Shields Up) for ARM 17 and +2 on attack rolls for an effective MAT 9. They also have Side Step, so they can end up 10" away from their initial position.
- One of the few ranged options in the Convergence Army are the Perforators. They throw Javelins that have Armour Piercing and POW 6 and RNG 6. They can choose between either +2 POW (for POW 8 AP attacks! ) or Snipe (+4 RNG and because the ability is named like that, it means that if there is a caster with Snipe, these guys won't get RNG 14 weapons). Also, these guys have Assault (order) so they have a 14 inch threat range with POW 8 weapons or 18 inch one with POW 6. It should be noted that these guys have RAT 5, so agile targets (like Cygnaran light warjacks with 14 ARM) are harder to catch.
So, that's it for the units! Next installment will summarize all we know about the supportive units the Convergence has to offer!
See you next time.

Convergence Spoilers 3: the Warcasters
Hi all, this post will cover what we know about the centerpieces of a Warmachine army: The Warcasters. We already know a little bit of every single one of them, but we don't know nearly enough. Still, I will post what I know and some pictures I can find. Let's do this alphabetically!
1. Aurora, the Numen of Aerogenesis
Link is here
So, what do we know? Well, she supports infantry like a boss, and it's with her that Clockwork Angels become true angels of death! Two spells are already spoiled that will greatly help het footsoldiers.
1. Aurora, the Numen of Aerogenesis
Link is here
![]() |
| Whoa that's gorgeous! And I'm pretty sure that's a reach weapon! |
- Transference: allows her troops to use her focus to boost attack and damage rolls
- True Path: gives +2" movement and pathfinder. And then you realise Clockwork Angels are SPD 7..
The only other spell we know is Flashing Blade (so let's hope she has reach!). Infantry beware!
Stats
The only Stats we know about the Numen are:
SPD 7
FOC 7
Abilities
She grants CMA to the Angels.
True flight (?)
And she has Flank [Clockwork Angels], so that means she doesn't have Weaponmaster I guess..
And she has Flank [Clockwork Angels], so that means she doesn't have Weaponmaster I guess..
Feat
And then the fun part, her feat 'Eleventh Hour': friendly faction models gain refuge (after hitting with an attack, the model is allowed to make a full advance, ignoring free strikes).
2. Axis, the Harmonic Enforcer
Link is here
![]() |
| Looking good as well - curious on how the model will look like |
And in the trailer, his stats were already shown:
![]() |
| P+S check; MAT check; ARM check |
And we know his Focus stat out of this tidbit: [...]Capable of fourteen attacks[...]
Now, what about his the rest of his card(s).
Axis is the sledgehammer of the faction. Aggressiveness is everything to this guy. If you don't go forward with this guy and his army, you are doing it wrong!
Weapons
Action and Reaction, two warhammers who are connected to his back. He swings with them like there is no tomorrow.
- P+S 14
- beatback
- Double Strike
Soooo 8 inches charge, and 14 beat backs.. If you find enough targets you can potentially move up to 22"!
Spells
- Unstoppable Force: Grants Bulldoze to his battlegroup (So normally this would also apply to him!)
- Onslaught: Pathfinder when charging for Friendly Faction Models
- ...
Abilities
Field Marshal: Counter Charge. Suddenly, all warjacks in his battlegroup become really aggressive and it will confuse your opponent when he has to consider several possible countercharge angles from your heavy vectors.
Also note he is not a construct! Maybe he is still repairable?
Feat: Circumpotence
Pretty straightforward: +2 STR and +2 SPD to all friendly models in control area, and -2 STR and -2 SPD to all enemy models in his control area.
3. Iron Mother Directrix and Exponent Servitors
All we have are some pics of cards of her. I'll just post them here.
There is also a rumour that one of her spells is 'Fire Group' because apparently her runes tell us that. Not sure about it at all.
4. Father Lucant
No pic, no stats. All we have are his abilities:
5. Forge Father Syntherion
We know absolutely nothing about this guy, but it's the only warcaster whose model is already out.
It's also the warcaster who is in the battlebox.
So, that's all the information we've got for now about the warcasters, but I'll post the moment something new is spoilt! Hope you enjoyed the read!

Convergence spoilers 2: the vectors
Hi all, this is my second post on the spoilers given by Will Shick and, as you might have guessed, it's about the warjacks of the convergence. Those are called vectors by the way.
First and foremost, here is a link to the full text.
And here is a spoiler for their stats:
There will be three flavors of vectors: the light ones, the slumbering heavies, and heavies that fly above the ground. Yes that's right, heavy warjacks with pathfinder and possibly SPD 5.
the light ones:
the slumbering ones ( a.k.a. the ones that are already in the Convergence gallery )

the light ones:
- The Galvanizer: the first light to repair other warjacks - note that it's a whole army or either constructs or repairable models. It will be worth is 3 points.
![]() |
| It looks like a badass chainsaw.. |
- Diffuser: it marks his target. I guess it's like the Blackclad. +2" movement when charging, free charge.
- Mitigator: a light jack with a bola. Unimpressive stats, but it got Quake (on a direct hit, everything hit is knocked down) and Puncture ( all enemies hit suffer automatically 1 damage point ).
the slumbering ones ( a.k.a. the ones that are already in the Convergence gallery )
- Cipher: the one whose stats are shown at the top this thread, it's got a gun where it's nose should be. The gun won't be dealing a lot of damage, but it will support the army while it advances. Because it has multiple ammunition types (you did watch the trailer did you? ), I think it will have puncture, an ammo type that creates rough terrain, and then something else.
![]() |
| This is the Cipher. Yes that's a gun instead of a head. |
- The monitor: A ranged jack that shoots saws and has True Sight. Hell yeah. Also, he sees you.
![]() |
| He sees you |
- The Inverter: a p+s 20 badass with knockdown. Too bad you can only once per round, but it's other weapon looks good enough to complete the task.
![]() |
| Guess which weapon is the p+s 20 one |
And now the neat stuff: the floating jacks:
- Assimilator: a jack that heals itself when he destroys an opposing construct. Can't wait to take a look at this guy!
- Conservator: Shielded with a pair of bucklers, probably ARM 20, and he got Hand of Vengeance, granting +2 on attack and damage rolls when a friendly model is killed in his presence.
- Modulator: Shooty jack with emitter surge ranged attacks. Good against enemy infantry, curious to see the stats of his weapons. I think we already know how this guy looks, but you have to look for it.
Last but not least, there will be a colossal: the Prime Axiom. I think it is this one, but there is no confirmation about it:
That was it for now, the next time I will take a look at what's already known about Convergence Warcasters. See you then!

Convergence spoilers 1: what's it all about?
First, here is the symbol of the Convergence of Cyriss:
The following information is straight from the Privateerpress insider. here is the link to the full text.
There are some parts I copy literally, those are in Italic.
Short, the faction will act like [...] a giant clockwork mechanism, where each model is part of a greater whole.[...] As I see it, every model's action or presence will have an effect on the game.
I will sum up the concepts that are known:

Short, the faction will act like [...] a giant clockwork mechanism, where each model is part of a greater whole.[...] As I see it, every model's action or presence will have an effect on the game.
I will sum up the concepts that are known:
- Interface Node: [...] Unlike other factions, Convergence warjacks - known as vectors - do not have their own MAT or RAT stat. Instead, these values are derived from their controlling warcasters.[...] So a high MAT caster is better of with melee warjacks, and vice versa. This also means no caster will have astounding MAT or RAT scores. I think the most extreme MAT score will be the one of Axis, the Harmonic Enforcer, who has MAT 7, but also RAT 2 (as shown in the video). Because of this, you will not see any 'jack marshal in the faction.
- Field Marshal ability: every warcaster gives their battlegroup an ability. Already spoilt are Arc Node, Shield Guard and Counter Charge.
- Adaptable infantry: Infantry is able to change weapon modes. Or, as said in the trailer: "Hands that turn into drills and pikes that turn into halberds and flails that become maces"
![]() |
| How convenient |
- Induction node: a concept not spoken of in the Insider, but it is spoilt in the trailer: when using a focus, the vector is able to give this Focus to a nearby vector. It is not known whether this focus is simply given or allocated.
We also already know the name of the Battle Engine: the Transfinite Emergence Projector.
So, that's it for that Insider. See you next time!

A new beginning: the Convergence of Cyriss
There is nothing that makes me more enthusiastic than a new faction: it allows me to explore the faction wholly on my own, and to easily keep up with the limited releases - a welcome brake on my expenses.
The convergence of Cyriss is no different. For those folks who know of nothing, there is a link at the bottom of the page. At Lock & Load 2013 a new faction begins that will enrich the Iron Kingdkoms universe further. And it's a theme that hasn't yet been seen in Western Immoren: an army filled with robots and who live only to see the tenet of the 'Fifth Harmonic' come true - the belief that the Maiden of Gears will come down to earth the moment the most perfect machine is created. Groovy stuff.
At the moment, already a fair amount of information has been spoilt, and I will try to keep up. Every wednesday Will Shick spoils a little more about the faction, so you can expect thursday to be post-day. I will also try to post the other spoilers as well. When the faction is released, I will use this blog as a tactica to help new players get into the faction and to aid veterans in army composition, model use and nifty tricks.
Here are a few teasers - more to come!
